What's the difference between 100% Glass and Glass + BPA-free cartridge?

Just one part: the cartridge casing. On 100% Glass it's glass. On the other option it's BPA-free. Everything else is the same: borosilicate glass tanks, a bamboo lid and stand, 8 litres, 20 × 20 × 43 cm, and the same lab-tested filter media, so the filtration is identical.

Which refill cartridges do I need?

100% Glass takes the 100% Glass Filter cartridge. Glass + BPA-free takes the Glass Trinity cartridge. Both last about 3 to 4 months, and you can add a year of them when you check out.

Is it lab tested?

Yes. The filter media inside Glass Trinity is the same media used in Trinity, which was tested by AS Enviro, an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. It cut fluoride by 99.5%, chlorine and lead by more than 99.9%, and chloramine by 99.0%.

How often do I change the cartridge?

About every 3 to 4 months, depending on how much you use and the quality of your water source. If the taste changes earlier than that, swap it sooner. Swapping takes a minute, no tools.

Can I use it in a rental?

Yes. Nothing is drilled, plumbed or wired in, so it sits on the bench and moves house with you.

Can I put hot water through it?

No. Glass Trinity is made for cold water only. Hot water damages the filter media, and that isn't covered by the guarantee.

Does it handle chloramine, not just chlorine?

Yes. Chloramine is what several Australian networks use instead of chlorine, and the filter media reduced it by 99.0% in independent lab testing.
