Shower Mate or Shower Mate Plus+?
Same cartridge, same filtration. Shower Mate is a compact inline filter that keeps your current showerhead. Plus+ replaces your showerhead with a premium chrome one that has the filter built in. Choose Plus+ if your old head is due for an upgrade.
Does it work with chloramine?
Yes. The KDF-55 and catalytic carbon media handle both free chlorine and chloramine, so it works no matter which one your city uses.
Will it lower my water pressure?
It's designed for everyday showers and keeps a strong, steady flow. If you notice pressure dropping over time, it's usually a sign your cartridge is due for a swap.
How do I change the cartridge?
Unscrew the filter housing on the back of the head, drop in a fresh Shower Mate cartridge and screw it back on. It takes about a minute and the head stays on the wall.
I already have a Trinity. Do I need this too?
They work as a pair. Your Trinity looks after the water you drink and cook with, while Shower Mate Plus+ looks after the water your skin and hair soak in every day.
