Look- I'm 60. My parents were born 1923/26. I'm not into fads, or over-the-top health kicks. I use facts, common sense & proof. Initially, Fluoride water treatment, majorly improved kids' (& many adults) dental health. Likewise, the School Milk scheme had many wonderful benefits and Vaccines have- & still work! Check your history!! Our water was a bit more healthy with the additive- but it was always clean, clear & still tasted fine!
However, over the last 2years, (yeah, I mean that, just the last 2 years)- I noticed a huge deterioration in our water quality. I had already started boiling my drinking water. Then I noticed, I couldn't wash my hands or shower normally, without needing ridiculous amounts or moisturiser, even if I used no soap. Just a daily wash with water & a flannel caused an unusual skin dryness, eczema & my hair felt like straw. No change in products or anything else. I took a chance (as a costly experiment too) & got the H2O shower head/filter. Yes, I had purchased the drinking filter about 2mnths prior. Great product btw!
Results: First, the shower head itself, is terrific! Easy installation. A lovely, even all-over body stream. Lots of nozzles. You can also get a jet stream or a mist. Im guessing, the nozzle size openings are current standards for water conscious regulations. You get great body coverage. If you do evrr turn up your water pressure, you'll be surprised! Wow! Like a massage.
By my third shower, I didn't need any extra moisturiser- & Old skin needs some help. The stubborn eczema I had developed, over the previous 5mnths (particularly on the soles of my feet) diminished. My hair regained a condition I haven't known for a long while!
This product worked! Based on my results, it obviously filtered out some 'hard/harsh' stuff, that I didn't initially realise was causing problems. Getting moisturiser isn't a hassle. Buying 3 times more, IS! Plus, the personal bodily comfort, skin softness & confidence gained, is subtle, but real. Menopause gives enough grief!! If you dehydrate from the outside as well...
For ME, This product has had an important benefit. Now, I can shower whenever, & as often, as I want or need to. That includes coming home after my Hydrotherapy Rehab sessions, to de-chlorinate! My skin & hair, always feel clean but not tight, itchy or dry. That's a very handy convenience.

We love out showerhead and filter. We live out bush were we have hard water and the calcuim is next level. I love that having both the filter and showerhead that my glass doors are easier to clean. I used to hate to clean the glass... But now it's a lot easier. My hair and skin also feels amazing. We had a new neighbour come down try it out as her eczema was really bad due to the water here. She loved it and her skin didn't flare up as bad..... yes she also ordered one.
LOVE LOVE LOVE my waterfall showerhead. Honestly, the best investment. We moved to Toowoomba, it is a gorgeous place though the water is hard and not all that pleasant.
I have sensitive skin and fine hair, so not a good combination for hard water.
Anyways... I need be concerned no more. Not only is the water pressure greatly improved and amazing; the showerhead itself is light and lovely to hold. The water in infinitely softer and most of the smell is removed. So happy days.

Love it. Easy to fix by a woman unlike other filters. Water is very smooth through the filter. My only constructive criticism is that the shower water does not spread to the whole body. Only falls in the center and you have to keep moving to shower.
Hair definitely better after using. Hair quite soft and silky which was my reason for buying this piece.
A few minor issues with the actual fitting connecting to the shower hose. Occasionally I notice a slight dripping of water between the connections so I have tightened it when it happens. I may yet use some Teflon tape to prevent the drip.
Otherwise am fine with it though it would look better in a sturdier material - plastic not so great.
For the past 2 years, I've been very frustrated with the pressure of my shower but I thought it's just my overall water pressure. I finally bought the Shower Mate and holyguacamoly I didn't know my shower can have that much pressure in it. I'm talking jacuzzi kind of pressure. The strongest setting had the shower head flying around in the air. I'm literally writing this review in my towel.
