The frequency depends on water usage and the quality of your water source.

As a general guideline, the top (Stage 1 - Ceramic) & bottom (Stage 3 - Mineral Stones) generally last 1 year while the middle (Stage 2 - KDF) needs changing 6-8 months.

Note:
It's normal for the initial filtration to be slow as water needs to pass through the top filter. (It is crafted from densely compressed ceramic diatoms)

Once you have completed the set up & keep the tank topped up, you shouldn't have a problem.

Eventually, the flow rate will be ~ 1L/hr

The top ceramic filter can be cleaned under cool running water with a mesh scrubber, scouring pad or an old soft-bristle toothbrush.

We recommend draining the system annually & using dishwashing liquid with warm water to sanitize the body.
